David has explored shipwrecks all around the world, and likes nothing better than telling people all about it over a pint of Doom Bar.
His previous career began over 30 years ago as a corporate designer and included a stint with Holmes and Marchant Brand and Packaging Design in Marlow – where he was introduced to the Aesthedes Design System – the grand-daddy of computer-based graphic design.
David also founded and ran Marlin Creative Media (later ‘Journey’) in Henley-on-Thames, working with branding expert and designer James Quartermaine. David and James still collaborate on creative projects, delivering bespoke brand design combined with the very best digital delivery.
David has travelled all around the world exploring shipwrecks in far-flung places as well as discovering deeper wrecks in home waters around the south coast. He has been lucky enough to explore the nuclear fleet wrecks of Bikini Atoll, HMS Prince-of-Wales and Repulse in the South China Sea – and the Grand Fleet Wrecks in Scapa Flow.
His biggest passion, however, is his family. He is very proud of his children, although they are now all grown up!
Currently assisting a cyber security form with on-site SEO planning, looking for quick wins and longer-term strategies for more competitive key word phrases. The Cyber security industry has really taken off, but there are still opportunities to gain good ranking for lucrative phrases.
