Our work with Channel Marketing Agencies
Our channel marketing client is a successful strategy consultancy for channel sales and marketing. To enable them to concentrate on client relationship development and the support of client activity, they redistribute their design and development tasks to us.
Although we do all of their digital development, they do a substantial amount of inbound marketing, telesales, social media marketing, events and other activities with their clients that we don’t get involved with. We take the burden of the tasks which fall into their second tier of expertise. This then allows them to capitalise on tier 1.
Where a campaign requires a digital footprint, we will deliver it. Most of our work for this client is actually for a global IT distributor. We currently design, build and develop all of their landing pages, microsites and campaign websites. Whilst also selling specific suites of software for IBM, VMware and other leading technology brands.
We design, develop and support a wide range of campaign websites, each supported by email marketing templates, social media banners and collateral. These sites will typically include landing pages, gated resource libraries and video content. The websites are integrated with Eloqua, which is the clients preferred marketing automation system.
We provide all of this in a quick and cost-effective manner with the use of development resources and our expertise. Due to our highly knowledgeable and reactive team, we’re able to deliver their projects usually within a 3 to 4-week timescale.
This client knows that they can get similar services by other means, but they trust us to deliver a great finished result with minimal fuss. They also know that we can support their clients’ platforms and specific integration needs. This is a trusting partnership which has been fruitfully operating for 12 years.
Our work with Branding & Design Agencies
Our client in this category is a branding and design agency based in Henley. We have both known and worked alongside with this agency for over 20 years. They specialise in branding but inevitably get involved in delivering websites and e-marketing. We take pride in looking after a host of smaller tasks, whilst supporting their talented in-house art-worker, who knows basic HTML.
Throughout our relationship with this client, we have always jointly approached tasks; they provide all the design, and we provide all of the development and technical expertise. And although we once were ‘white-labelled’ by them, the trust built over the years has meant that they now introduce us as their preferred partner for development. And they’re happy for us to deal with their clients directly.
This means we are given free reign to create the functional specifications and project management for some of their larger clients. As well as delivering direct support and maintenance.
Although there are many advantages of this relationship, one of the biggest is that they have time to look after all of the sales processes. But at the same time, they let us remain flexible in delivering a good solution for their clients. And even though these are often challenging projects – with timescales and budgets that are inevitably tight – we always deliver successfully, always going the extra mile to ensure that we neither let down our partners, their clients or indeed ourselves.
